FIRE - CONCERT ETUDE WITH TRACK AND CINEMA FOR SNARE DRUM

FIRE is about the energy, potential, and consuming nature of fire. The piece begins with the striking of a match and the lighting of a candle, with the player using rim clicks, stick rubs, and buzz rolls to imitate the crackling sounds of a fire. The fire begins to spread out of control, and it culminates in a roaring blaze. When all is consumed, the fire burns itself down to a flicker.
