HAMILBEAT - DRUMLINE LOT ETUDE

Product image 1

HAMILBEAT - DRUMLINE LOT ETUDE

Composer: Tracy Wiggins

Instrumentation: Snare Drums, Tenor Drums, Bass Drums (5), Flub Line, Marching Cymbals

Description of Piece: "Hamilbeat" is a parking lot ditty/etude based off of rhythms from the musical "Hamilton." The goal of this exercise was to bring the idea of an "SCV Double Beat" to groups that love watching those exercises, but are not at the level to play them. It is a modular exercise, meaning there are multiple snare, tenor, and bass parts that directors can mix and match according to the skill levels of their students in each section. Multiple groups can get together and perform this, even if they are playing different versions, as it will all still fit together!
